When Apple Grows Up

What do I want to be when I grow up?

You know- nobody has ever asked me that before. 

​My family is usually pretty self-sufficient.  Every woman on my mom's side can sew.  I'd love to be a seamstress.

​"Oh, a fashion designer! " Everyone says.

​No- a seamstress. 

 

My goals are simple.  I want to make clothes the way my mother did, the way my grandmother did.  And every woman in the White family has done.

And I'll sell them on Etsy.

I'm going to raise chickens.

I've got dreams.  

Living on my own, raising chickens.  Selling my clothes.  Being self sufficient.

I'm going to be completely independent.  On my own.  Doing for myself, and being myself.

Apple White doesn't need anyone, or any man.

Especially Klaus Zutsy...that two timing bastard.

I hope I never see that man again.
